Reconnecting With Nature
Ripple Collection is a bionic fan that was inspired by nature. The seed of this project is to create a fan design that focuses on the glass shade elements, where the shape is reminiscent of the water ripple in the natural world. The design is to capture the reflection cast by the natural effect of the glasswork as we explore various ripple designs to achieve its final form.

Tubi Pandent Light
The essence of Ripple derives from the simplicity and elegance of the glasswork. Ripple fans investigate the natural beauty lie between light and reflection. The project is to capture the transitory states of water waves through the sophisticated and delicate craftsmanship of the glassworks.

Each Ripple’s glasswork is individually tailored with the local glass workshop to ensure the pieces are hand-crafted components to reach their clear states. The manufacturing process starts with the hot molten glass taken out from the furnace. Then, as it interacts with the mould, gravity, and the breeze of the blower, it gradually takes shape into concentric circle ripples.

The Beauty of The Water
The idea of the Ripple glassworks starts with a simple where a drop of water creates a rhythm of the natural ripple effect. We want to capture that moment and translate it into a form that we can see in our daily life.
