Reconnecting With Nature

The DUET Series features a wall sconce and pendant, each defined by a luminous mouth-blown opaline sphere resting atop a modern reinterpretation of the Doric column, contrasted by a twin suspended at its side. This delicate interplay between two spheres and a linear pillar creates a quiet tension—where balance and proportion shape the essence of the design.

Duet Wall Sconce Light

P1050296.jpg

The DUET Sconce introduces a sense of interaction, with the lower opaline sphere designed to rotate horizontally—blending function with a subtle sense of play. Anchored by a linear pillar, the composition finds its balance in the quiet tension between structure and light, where proportion and movement define the essence of the design.

"DUET Sconce balances light, structure, and playfulness, anchored by a ribbed linear column that refines its form."

Each DUET glass shade is individually crafted in collaboration with a local glass workshop, ensuring clarity and precision in every piece. Using traditional mouth-blown techniques, molten glass is drawn from the furnace and carefully shaped by gravity, air, and precise tooling. As it meets the mold, it gradually forms into a seamless opal sphere—capturing the balance between artisan craftsmanship and refined design.

The Beauty of The Water

The idea of the Ripple glassworks starts with a simple where a drop of water creates a rhythm of the natural ripple effect. We want to capture that moment and translate it into a form that we can see in our daily life.
